Bio

Coleman Simpson joined the Office of Undergraduate Research in April 2025. A lifelong Wolfpack fan, he was previously the Assistant Director of Career Services in the Academic Programs office in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. His professional career has been spent helping students find community, experiential learning opportunities, and connecting their learning with real-world applications. Coleman has been at NC State since 2015, where he completed bachelor degrees in Agricultural Science and Political Science and masters degrees in Agricultural Leadership and Public Administration. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development. His research interests focus on morally-centered and transformative leadership competencies, land grant institutions, and student well-being. He is excited to work with undergraduate students to build research opportunities!
