2018 Dates of Summer Undergraduate Research Program Activities

Safety Orientation, Ken Kretchman

  • Basic safety information for students engaged in research and living on the campus.  Specific safety information for their research and facility to be provided by mentors.

Welcome Reception for Students, Mentors, and Administrators, All students, mentors, and administrators of programs are invited.

  • Introduction of the summer programs by program directors/representative.
  • Ice Breaker Activity
  • Ice Cream Social for students across the various programs to meet each other

This is a general content area session to cover misconduct (falsification, fabrication, plagiarism), data management, authorship, and mentor-ship.

  • Programs will need follow-up with case studies in content areas or review other options for small group case study discussions.
