Most meals are provided by the conference itself, all other food expenses will be the responsibility of the student.

Students who receive travel awards from the OUR will be asked to sign a contract and as such agree to all of the requirements of the award as listed below. Estimated cost per student covered by the OUR will be $1,195.

  1. Travel on the flight booked by the OUR,
  2. Stay at the hotel booked by the OUR,
  3. Attend all non-social conference events [Plenary speakers, poster sessions, oral sessions, etc] and attend presentations given by their fellow NC State students,

  6. Use the University brand templates and color palette. These topics will be covered during the mandatory preparation meeting mentioned above.

These awards will be based on a couple factors such as previous funding received by the student to present at NCUR, order received of the NCUR 2020 award application, and funding availability; until the office has reached its maximum based on our budget.
